I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to the 12th Asian Congress on Endometriosis (ACE) which will be held in the enchanting island paradise of Bali, Indonesia, from September 20 to 24, 2024.
In ASEA we continue the tradition of having our annual meeting and the team in Indonesia chose the central theme, “Embracing Personalized Medicine in Endometriosis: From Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment,” which confirm the importance of the individual approach to patients with endometriosis or/and adenomyosis management.
They have prepared an outstanding scientific program that covers most of the problems and new advances in all aspects of these two diseases by inviting world leaders and experts to discuss and exchange experiences that will impower all of us to fight against these diseases.
The team in Indonesia have prepared a balanced and up-to-date program focusing on new ways of diagnosis, medical & surgical treatment, and prevention.
I encourage all researchers from all countries and especially from ASIA to submit their scientific papers to show their achievements. ASIA harbors the largest numbers of endometriosis patients, and this should be reflected in your active participation.
Although, I have never been in Bali, but all reviews showing that this is a place with great natural beauty, exquisite cuisine, and warm hospitality, and I am sure the clean air and beauty of the place will give us great mood and relaxing atmosphere that will enable us to actively discuss and exchange ideas.

In alignment with the mission of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA), this annual congress promises to be a pivotal gathering that emphasizes the latest advancements and comprehensive care for endometriosis patients. Our central theme, “Embracing Personalized Medicine in Endometriosis: From Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment,” underscores our commitment to improving the lives of individuals affected by this condition.
Endometriosis poses a significant burden on women of reproductive age, including those struggling with infertility. Sadly, a widespread issue is the delay in diagnosing endometriosis, which affects individuals across Asia. Cultural and socioeconomic barriers often hinder access to timely care, compounding the challenges patients face and diminishing their quality of life and fertility prospects. Our congress will spotlight medical management as a cornerstone of endometriosis care while delving into the development of traditional and complementary therapies and innovative surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes and prognosis.
This event will unite accomplished scientists from academic institutions and proficient clinicians in their respective fields. We extend a heartfelt invitation to both national and international participants to submit their research abstracts that align with our central theme.
